Electric Vehicle Battery

An electric vehicle battery (EVB) is a rechargeable battery used for the propulsion of battery electric vehicles (BEVs). For this PGMC 2012, PROTON gave each team 13 units of Lithium-ion batteries.

We noticed that there are some QR code stickers appended to each battery module. Upon inspection, it reveals that each module is made of 4 unit cell of batteries (2S2P). The initial voltages of each single cell are given in the QR code. These values were verified when we measured each battery one by one.

We also noticed that when stacked, there are slits between batteries that would help in cooling.

I love the way you post this article. This is wonderful post.
